Harriet Pellereau is co-founder and co-CEO of digital habits behaviour change company Mind over Tech. She spent 9 years working at award-winning tech education company Decoded. As Teaching Director, she worked closely with corporate clients to build and facilitate transformational courses for senior leadership teams, and led a team of 30+ data scientists to deliver data skills courses to Fortune 500 companies. Harriet has a background as a technologist and digital creative, and started her career developing 3D animations and web experiences for advertising clients, and interactive apps for media companies. Reid Blackman, Ph.D., is the author of “Ethical Machines: Your Concise Guide to Totally Unbiased, Transparent, and Respectful AI (Harvard Business Review Press), Founder and CEO of Virtue, an AI ethical risk consultancy, and he volunteers as the Chief Ethics Officer for the non-profit Government Blockchain Association. He has also been a Senior Advisor to the Deloitte AI Institute, a Founding Member of Ernst & Young’s AI Advisory Board, and sits on the advisory boards of several startups. His work has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal and Forbes and he has presented his work to dozens of organizations including Citibank, the FBI, the World Economic Forum, and AWS. Andrew McStay is Professor of Digital Life at Bangor University, UK. His most recent book, Emotional AI: The Rise of Empathic Media, examines the impact of technologies that make use of data about affective and emotional life. Director of The Emotional AI Lab, current projects include cross-cultural social analysis of emotional AI in UK and Japan. Non-academic work includes IEEE membership (P7000/7014) and ongoing advising roles for start-ups, NGOs and policy bodies. He has also appeared and made submissions to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner on the right to privacy in the digital age, the UK House of Lords AI Inquiry and the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport Inquiry on emotion, news and reality media.
Rob Miles is a science communicator focused on AI Safety and Alignment. He has a YouTube channel called Rob Miles AI, and runs The Alignment Newsletter Podcast, which presents summaries of the week's research. He also collaborates with research organisations like the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, the Future of Humanity Institute, and the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, to help them communicate their work.
